Sharing Places Information

Sharing Places promotes a person directed culture which empowers participants, providing choice and control in their lives and the opportunities to move forward towards the future they desire. Sharing Places provides for participation in community, social and civic activities; development of daily living and life skills including work readiness transition skills training; development and implementation of communication strategies and use of augmentative communication aids and, development and implementation of behaviour support programs leading to positive outcomes for all participants. Participants are supported by experienced, trained competent support staff and professionals who are committed to supporting participants to enhance personal growth, through a diversity of programs and quality of lifestyles within community environments. The service works to see individuals achieve self determination in all those matters important to them and strives to remove those barriers that prevent people from participating fully in our community. Sharing Places is a registered provider with the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and actively supports the development and implementation of the NDIS.
