Whiteboards are communication super tools: they’re instantly intuitive in operation and built from the ground up around us humans. Their power to extract and expound ideas at the speed of thought is unmatched and their ability to drive information retention – scientifically proven. Yet even such simple and powerful tools have their shortcomings: handwritten content is often illegible and too quickly erased. The efficiency of the tool is compromised by the audience’s focus on deciphering and capturing ephemeral notes. These challenges are global in nature but they disproportionately affect anyone with vision impairment, learning difficulties, or mobility issues. ShareTheBoard aims to address these challenges while adhering to the precepts of universal design. We believe true accessibility solutions are “always on” – delivering personalized, equitable access without any stigma or disruption. We’re determined to achieve our goal without compromising the intuitive nature of human-centric communication and we pride ourselves on delivering technology that is both transformational and affordable.
