SharedAcres is a UK-based cooperative on a mission to make land ownership more accessible, fair, and community-led. We enable groups of people to come together to collectively buy and steward woodland, meadow, and rural land—turning an often unattainable goal into something practical and achievable. Traditional land ownership is increasingly out of reach for individuals. SharedAcres exists to change that by creating a structured, legally sound cooperative model where members pool resources to purchase land together. By sharing the cost, responsibility, and benefits, we unlock access to nature for a wider range of people. Our cooperative is built on principles of transparency, shared responsibility, and long-term stewardship.
