We're a nonprofit social enterprise that equips smallholder farmers with the tools, knowledge, and innovations they need to prosper. Our solutions are proven to increase productivity, build resilience, and strengthen markets for farmers, and in 2024, we served 5.5 million farmers in 10 countries across Africa. On average, the farmers we serve increase their farm income by over 40% per year. In everything we do, we put Farmers First.

The Open Society Foundations work to build vibrant and inclusive democracies whose governments are accountable to their people.
