Shapes & Spaces Information

SHAPES&SPACES is a full service, family owned company specializing in construction of custom homes and country estates in the Douglas and Elbert County region of Colorado. We believe in merging the highest quality materials, the latest technologies, and the newest standards in the industries. When people look at homes to build or buy, the two biggest issues generally are cost per square foot and upgraded features. These concepts will not work well together in a custom home environment. When building a custom home, everything is tailored specifically to the client. If the phrases "standard features" and "custom home" seem contradictory, it is because they are. In a custom home the "standard features" are set by the customer! In a true custom home, the floorplan is designed specifically to take advantage of the lot's unique views, orientation and topography. But most importantly, we must understand how the client is going to live and tailor the design for that lifestyle. A variety of elements, including fixtures, finishes, appliances, and the type of heating and cooling are all choices that affect price, design and style. With 31 years of experience in all phases of commercial, residential, and industrial construction, we will guide you through the process of building your new home. From mortgages and financing to the design and completion of your custom home, on your acreage or ours, dreams of a lifetime become reality. This page is always under construction. Our intent is to show you our high quality standards, craftsmanship, and technical know how through pictures and text.
