Shape & Shadow is the animation studio of artist and animation director Hayley Morris. At Shape & Shadow, we bring stories to life through the artistry of mixed media and stop-motion animation. Our animation studio specializes in creating visually captivating narratives, using layered textures, handcrafted details, and inventive storytelling techniques. From concept to final frame, Shape & Shadow is dedicated to producing unique, high-quality animation that engages and inspires audiences. Our projects range from commercials, social media spots, music videos, projection design, miniature fabrication and short form animation for documentaries and feature films. Past commercial clients include, MTV, Netflix, Samsung, Sesame Street, Hewlett Packard, Kate Spade, Burt’s Bees, The Robin Hood Foundation and many more. Hayley has a passion for working with musicians and has created concert visuals and music videos for Iron and Wine, The Smashing Pumpkins, Explosions in the Sky, Bon Jovi, Pure Bathing Culture and Grammy-award winning violinist Hilary Hahn, and pianist Hauschka.
