Nestled in beautiful Elizabethtown, just outside of Harrisburg, in South Central Pennsylvania, Shank's Strings has been providing world class restoration, repairs, sales and service of string instruments, with a hometown feel, for over 14 years. We are dedicated to providing excellent workmanship, high quality materials, and instruments at fair prices. "One-on-one" service and workmanship, done always by Michael Shank himself, is what makes our shop unique. Our showroom offers a comfortable atmosphere to try out our inventory of vintage and professional basses, violins and cellos. From initial consultation and review of your instrument's status, we provide options within your budget and guide you through what is needed to make your bass play accurately and durably.
