Shadowood Farm is devoted to teaching people how to grow their own organic food and sharing that gloriously GOOD food with others. This ten acre, solar powered, agroforestry farm began growing organic vegetables and fruits in 2010. Prior to 2010, we spent over two decades growing Native plants. Organic and sustainable are more than just fashionably, overused buzz words around here. After years of using organic practices, on October 10th, 2018, Shadowood Farm officially became Certified Organic as part of the USDA National Organic Program. For the last nine growing seasons, people have been able to rent a garden space and grow their own food; purchase food grown here on the farm; attend our various "how-to" workshops to learn better ways to grow food at home; and rent the farm for special events. As we enter our tenth season, we're embracing some changes and looking forward to the bounty this season will bring. all photographs on this website were made right here at Shadowood Farm in Palm City, Florida, either by one of the owners or by our talented, gracious friends.
