Founded in 1856, Holy Blossom Temple is one of Canada’s first Jewish congregations and the oldest synagogue in Toronto. Today, it continues to be a vibrant centre of Jewish life, and is at an exciting time in its history. With work in progress to transform its 75 year old building, innovate its Religious Education programming, and search for new rabbinic leadership, Holy Blossom Temple is undergoing an important period of renewal.

B’nai Brith Canada is a not for profit charitable organization and the independent voice of the Jewish community, representing its interests nationwide to government, NGO’s and the wider Canadian public. Since 1875, B’nai Brith has been respected for its groundbreaking work on matters relating to antisemitism, racism and human rights, its strong advocacy on the pressing issues of the day, and the important social services it provides

Adath Israel is blessed with the resources of a large synagogue, but the feeling of a close-knit community. With 115 years of history, we have a solid foundation upon which we continue to build for the Jewish future. Our Congregation goes back to the turn of the 20th Century when Jewish immigrants from Roumania, sought refuge from the strangeness of their new environment. Today, our members and guests come from across the Toronto area to join in our uplifting services and participate in our programs that range from pre-nursery school to Club L’Chayim for older adults.
