The Simon Fraser University Rowing Club aims to support, promote, and advance the sport of rowing within both the university and surrounding community. The team is based out of Burnaby Lake and attends highly competitive regattas across Canada and the U.S. Classified as an SFU club, the team receives limited funding. We raise all our funds to buy equipment, cover travel expenses, regatta fees and coaching. Individual athletes also currently cover a portion of these costs. We are a student-run organization; in addition to academics and intensive training schedules, SFU Rowing is administered by a student lead executive board.
