SFPE UK Chapter Information

The SFPE (Society of Fire Protection Engineers) is an international professional society representing those practicing in the field of fire safety engineering and fire protection engineering. SFPE is leading the profession as a neutral, international non-profit organization to define, develop, and advance the use of fire engineering, fire protection engineering, and fire safety engineering best practices; expand the scientific and technical knowledge base; and educate the global fire safety community, in order to reduce fire risk. The SFPE UK Chapter was formed in 2014 to act as a mechanism to advance the art and science of fire protection engineering and its allied fields, to maintain a high ethical standard among its members and to foster fire engineering education. The primary mission of the SFPE UK Chapter is to support and represent its members and those interested in fire engineering. One of the main ways of doing this is to provide Continual Professional Development (CPD) and sharing best practice. Membership of the SFPE UK Chapter is open to all people, including members of other Chapters who are interested in the UK fire engineering industry either by residency or work affiliations.
