SFAN is an Accra-based human capital development company preparing African talent for careers and entrepreneurship through practical education, technology and labour-market intelligence. Founded in 2013 and incorporated in 2016, SFAN connects learning to measurable economic opportunity. Its flagship platform, ReadyforWork, is an adaptive human capital development operating system that helps learners build and demonstrate relevant capabilities while enabling universities, employers and workforce-development organisations to make better talent-development and hiring decisions. SFAN has trained more than 20,000 young people, created over 1,750 jobs and unlocked $1.5 million for student entrepreneurs. ReadyforWork has supported 226 learners across seven pilot cohorts, recording 95% placement within nine months and 98% participant satisfaction. Its growing talent infrastructure connects more than 30 employers and analyses labour-market signals across Ghana, Nigeria and Kenya. SFAN was selected for Nasdaq’s Milestone Makers programme. Recent work includes a British Council-supported programme for 100 creative entrepreneurs and a partnership with Radford University to deploy AI-enabled talent development across its student community. SFAN partners with universities, employers and development organisations to deliver talent-development programmes and build verified pipelines of opportunity-ready talent.
