SF er et dansk venstreorienteret politisk parti dannet i 1959. Partiet har siddet i Folketinget siden 1960. Der findes omkring 100 lokale partiforeninger af SF rundt om i Danmark og partiet har politikere valgt ind i de fleste kommuner og alle regionsråd i landet. Det ideologiske fundament er folkesocialisme, inspireret af demokratisk socialisme og grøn politik. SF er medlem af Den Grønne Gruppe (G/EFA) i Europaparlamentet.
