Sewing Summit is a one-of-a-kind event, created to bring the modern sewist out from behind the sewing machine & computer screen to connect in person with friends and peers & to learn from some of the freshest & most exciting leaders in the modern sewing community. The inaugural Sewing Summit was held in Salt Lake City, Utah, in October 2011. Over 200 attendees came from all over the US & Canada (& even one from Germany!) for a weekend filled with amazing classes, networking events, social meet-ups & some uninterrupted sewing time. A cross between a sewing retreat & a blogging conference, there is no other event just like Sewing Summit! Sewing Summit 2012 is being held October 11th-13th, 2012, again in downtown Salt Lake City, Utah, and expects to sell out at 250 attendees & teachers.
