Wayra is Telefónica’s Corporate Venture Capital arm. It invests in tech startups with the potential to generate innovation within the Group and provides open innovation services to third parties. With a presence across Europe and Latin America, Wayra has invested over €245 million in more than 1,100 startups, and currently manages an active portfolio of 530+, of which over 200 are collaborating with Telefónica. It also drives open innovation through its platforms Alaian and Open Future.
