Set Fuel Information

Set Fuel is a small home heating and cooling business based in Long Island, New York. It offers 24-hour emergency service, fuel deliveries, heating system installations, hot water heater installations, tank installations, air conditioning system installation and repairs, and service contracts. In 1969, Jim Clock and Erwin "Mousie" Poetzsch founded Set Fuel. They had been working for a large oil company and decided to go out on their own. They knew that with good, prompt, personal service a local company would succeed in the community. Their service area was originally localized only to Islip, Bay Shore, and East Islip. Today, under a second generation, Set Fuel continues to provide the same personal, dependable service that it has been providing since 1969. The services offered have expanded from its origin of delivering heating oil and servicing heating systems to now also including installing both heating systems and central air conditioning systems. The service area Set Fuel covers has also expanded. Set Fuel's "We'll be right over" policy has been for the past 40 years, and will continue to be, the heart of their business.
