ServiceTax.net is managed by team headed by Atul Kumar Gupta who is having an experience of more than 15 years in the field of Service Tax apart from having a very strong academic background in terms of being a Cost Accountant, Chartered Accountant, CIQA & PGDEMM. Mr. Gupta is a thorough scholar and holds a bachelor degree in commerce from Delhi University. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant & a Cost Accountant with all India rank. During his entire academic period, Taxation has been his hard core area of interest & started his research & professional practice in the Indirect Tax space. He has an extensive in-depth business specific knowledge with exceptional ability to deliver, he has delivered more than 600 lectures during the last 8 years on Service Tax at different platforms which include big business conglomerates, Public Sector Undertakings, Members of Professional Institutes & officials from CBEC also. Presently, he is the Central Council Member of ICAI (2013-2016), Chairman of Indirect Taxes Committee of ICAI, Vice Chairman of Committee on Information Technology of ICAI, Member of AIMA and Member of Regional Advisory Committee of Service Tax for CBEC. He remained Member of Examination Committee of ICAI (2013-14), Chairman of Northern Indian Regional Council of Institute of Costs Accountants of India (Previously ICWAI) (2005-06) and for Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (2010-11) and got the Best Regional Council Award under his tenure as chairman in both the institutes.
