Established in 1991, Serene Skin & Body is one of Santa Cruz's first full service day spas. The day spa, originally operating as Serious Skin Care, is a long time favorite of Santa Cruz residents. Transforming into Serene in the early 2000's and under new ownership in November 2011, Serene continues to carry the same feel as the original Serious Skin Care, an elegant sanctuary to escape from every day life and indulge yourself. Serene carries top of the line products including Jan Marini, Clarisonic, and Jane Iredale Mineral Cosmetics. In 2012 Serene added organic products lines including Sequoia Beauty, La Isha, and Si Jin Bao and offers Manual Lympatic Drainage and specialized organic facials. As the largest day spa in Santa Cruz with nearly 2000 square feet, and 8 treatments rooms and a large variety of services, ranging from facials, massage, waxing, bridal services, spa parties, and laser hair removal and botox, Serene is truly a full service day spa to meet all of your needs and desires.
