Sentometrics is a university spinoff whose mission is to offer relevant company information from local news data in a scalable way. We take a thematic monitoring approach and ESG is our primary focus. Sentometrics has text and data mining (TDM) licenses with news publishers. We integrate their data on our opensearch data base and structure them into customized information signals. Drilldown analysis makes it possible to open the box and see the details behind the signals. As such, our algorithms allow you to quantify in an evidence-based way the ESG status and reputation of all companies mentioned in the news, irrespective of their size. We provide this information to our clients as a highly customizable product. Clients provide us the list of companies to be monitored and a description of the desired insights. Within a day the information is available on our platform. The company was founded in 2023 as a spinoff from VUB and UGent specializing in cutting-edge machine analysis of textual resources.
