Sensor ID designs and builds IoT devices and software in Italy: from the antenna to the dashboard, everything comes from one team. We started in 2010 as a group of engineers trained at the University of Pisa. Today we work on four lines: • Fixed, vehicle-mounted, wearable and desktop UHF RFID readers, with ranges up to 25 metres and IP67 versions for moving vehicles. • Fleets and mobility: vehicle management with CAN bus diagnostics, tracking and edge AI devices running our own models. The GLIX platform shows position, fuel and maintenance in one dashboard. • IoT platform: secure data acquisition, automatic AI data checks and MDM to manage every device remotely. • MODO, the smart remote control that cuts air-conditioning consumption in holiday rentals. Under the Innovation4Waste brand we bring these technologies to waste collection: in 2014 we built Discovery Mobile, the first wearable RFID reader for pay-as-you-throw. Research is where our products start. We work with the University of Pisa, the Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies, Politecnico di Milano, Ca' Foscari University of Venice and the University of Molise, on projects funded by the EU, ESA and the Italian ministries MIMIT and MUR. We are certified ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 27001 and ISO 14001; our products carry CE/RED marking and FCC certification for the United States.
