Sensor Development Corporation Information

Sensor Development Corporation is a commercial for-profit company located in Cleveland, Ohio that primarily focuses our research and development in the Agricultural Industry. The single focus of our company is to develop highly sensitive and selective nanocrystalline tin-oxide sensors to detect minute amounts of gaseous volatile organic compounds. These gases include mold gases from toxin producing molds that infect stored cereal grains and pheromones from highly destructive insects. This is a platform technology that can also be used in breath analysis to detect pulmonary fungal infections in patients at point-of care. Our in-house staff has extensive experience in the fabrication of and experimentation with these sensors, which will be the basis of the portable devices we are developing and will manufacture.
