Stockholm is a fast growing and innovative city. This comes with fantastic opportunities. In this unique and close collaboration between MIT, KTH and the City of Stockholm – research and cutting edge technology will create new solutions in sustainable urban development. Sensing the urban environment and how people and businesses use the city of Stockholm, form the basis of this research. Together, we will find new ways to evaluate and shape our city. Senseable Stockholm Lab is a collaboration between KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and the City of Stockholm with support from Stockholm Chamber of Commerce and Newsec. We bring together groundbreaking research on cities, IoT and AI. The goal of the Senseable Stockholm Lab is to improve understanding of city science and create a better urban experience and infrastructure - for people, institutions and nature.
