Seneca's Learning Centres, located at Seneca's King, Markham, Newnham and Seneca@York campuses, provide free tutoring for students in English, mathematics, accounting and selected subjects specific to programs offered at the College. Peer Tutors: Our peer tutors are upper level Seneca students who are excelling in their academic program. Tutors must achieve a GPA of 3.8 and take part in a comprehensive training program to qualify for employment. Our tutors must also possess: - Strong communication, interpersonal, and time-management skills. - Respect for confidentiality. - A recommendation from faculty. Services Provided: Multiple approaches to tutoring, including one-on-one sessions, group tutoring and workshops. Appointments may be made online or in-person. Free online resources including, study guides, tip-sheets and a collection of learning modules. ESL Tutoring / Conversation Clubs / Reading Clubs / a series of seminars and online modules specifically catered to language learners.
