Company Profile Senapathy Whiteley is the flagship enterprise of the Senapathy Group and a pioneer manufacturer of insulation materials that are essential for the power supply and transformer industries. The company produces special grades of insulation boards and paper used in power and distribution transformers, as well as other types of electrical equipment. It has also established a presence in the filter media segment, producing base filter paper and impregnated paper for automotive and industrial applications. All of its products are made in conformity with rigid international and Indian quality standards. Senapathy Whiteley's manufacturing facilities are located at Ramanagaram, on the banks of the Arkavathy River, 60 kilometers from Bangalore and off the Bangalore-Mysore Highway. Company History Senapathy Whiteley was established in 1960 under the terms of a technical collaboration with B.S.&W. Whiteley Limited of UK. The promoters of the alliance, AG Senapathy & Company, were associated with the marketing and distribution of pressboards from B.S.& W. Whiteley to reputed Industries in India. Over the early years of its operation, the company broke new ground as one of the earliest in the Indian electrical insulation space to produce indigenous alternatives to imports.
