SemperCycle is a Danish deep-tech company developing technology to transform plastic waste into methanol , creating value from carbon that would otherwise be lost. Our technology provides a circular pathway for difficult-to-recycle plastic waste, converting it into methanol that can serve as a renewable feedstock and fuel for industry. By keeping carbon molecules in productive use, we aim to contribute to a more circular and resource-efficient economy. Currently at TRL 5–6, SemperCycle has demonstrated its technology through a working pilot installation at DTU Risø Campus and secured approximately €4.5 million in non-dilutive funding to advance its development. We are now moving toward the next stage of scale-up and commercial deployment, working with investors, industrial partners, waste-sector players and potential methanol off-takers to bring the technology to market.
