Selonda was founded in Southern Greece in 1981 and today, with over 30 years of experience, is a leading global producer and supplier of fresh Greek Sea Bream (a.k.a. “Dorade Royale” / “Orata” / “Dorada”) and Sea Bass (a.k.a. “Branzino” / “Bar” / “Lubina” / "Loup de Mer"), healthy and tasty fresh fish consistently available to consumers throughout the year. Selonda has a fully vertically-integrated production, operating the following facilities in Greece: • 46 sea-cage fish farms with an annual production capacity of over 25.000 tons of Sea Bream and Sea Bass. • 1 fish feed production plant operated by the subsidiary company Perseus, the largest fish feed producer in Greece, with an annual production capacity of over 70.000 tons. • 5 hatcheries with an annual production capacity of over 120 million fry. Selonda has obtained a complete array of certifications and is recognized by fresh fish buyers around the world for the premium quality of its Greek Sea Bream and Sea Bass. Selonda also offers high-quality, ready-to-cook processed products such as gutted Sea Bream and Sea Bass and fillets, produced at a state-of-the-art 2000 square meter processing plant located in Argolida in Southern Greece, in close proximity to a majority of the company’s fish farms.
