The programs are supported by the University of Victoria and are a world-wide program that originated from Stanford University. They have been proven to provide people with the skills and confidence to better manage everyday issues while living with a chronic health condition or pain. Programs include: Chronic Conditions Self-Management; Chronic Pain Self-Management; Diabetes Self-Management; Cancer: Thriving & Surviving; and a one-on-one telephone Health Coach Program. Self-Management BC is supported by the Province of British Columbia.
