Founded by Kevin C. Wakefield in 2001, SelectCorr has grown to be one of the premier recruiting agencies in the Corrugated, Paper, and Packaging industry. The company has made hundreds of successful placements by cultivating it's professional relationships with both job candidates and their potential employers. Kevin C. Wakefield, known to all of his contacts as K.C., began his recruiting career in 1999 with Associated Recruiters before launching his own agency, SelectCorr, yet he maintains a great working relationship with Associated Recruiters to insure his clients have every available opportunity for a successful placement. K.C. spent the first 18 years of his career working in the corrugated industry. He worked with the majors and various independents in roles including Supervisor, Industrial Engineer, Superintendent, Production Manager, and General Manager. His first hand experience at almost every level of operational management and over 30 years in industry experience make him uniquely qualified to advise candidates of their best options in the marketplace. Equally important, having worked in upper level management, his knowledge enables him to understand the personality and skill set that companies are seeking in new hires. K.C. received his BA from James Madison University and his MBA from The College of William & Mary. He resides just outside of the Raleigh-Durham area in Clayton, NC with his wife of 35 years, Debra, and their children.
