Remote Control was set up in 2001 by Harvey Saward and Steve Cross. The company provides publicity, label management, distribution and marketing services to international and local artists and labels. Remote Control Records represents Beggars Group (XL Recordings, Matador, 4AD, Rough Trade, Young), Dot Dash Recordings, Secret City Recordings, Omnian Music Group (Captured Tracks, Sinderlyn, 2MR), Pointer Recordings and more. Artists represented across Remote Control’s labels include Thom Yorke, Jamie xx, Peggy Gou, Fontaines DC, Romy, Dirty Three, Courtney Barnett, Ngaiire, Jen Cloher, Memphis LK, Ed Kuepper, Leif Vollebekk, Tama Gucci and many more incredible local and international artists.
