Introduction Established on 14th February 1992, the Selangor Human Resource Development Centre (SHRDC) is a talent and skills development centre formed through a smart partnership between the Malaysian government and the private sector with an aim of improving the human resources pool in the country. The inception of SHRDC was originally sponsored by the Malaysian Federal Government and the Selangor State Government in collaboration with major industry players. With funding from both the Federal and State Government, SHRDC was able to facilitate the purchase of capital-intensive equipment for machinery-based training thus meeting the manpower training requirement of the industries. Over the years, SHRDC has grown into a fully integrated talent and skills development centre providing not just technical competency based training but also management and leadership skills training, essentials for the growth of any organization. Quality Policy Statement SHRDC is dedicated to meeting all related regulatory and statutory requirements and customer satisfaction by providing quality competency-based training in a timely manner through teamwork and a commitment to continuous improvement.
