Celebrating 45+ years of higher learning on the island of Grenada, no other medical school in the world provides more new doctors to the US healthcare system. In 2024, SGU placed more than 930 graduates into US residencies in more than 22 specialties.* St. George’s University is a dynamic center of higher education with a global network of academic, medical, and scientific collaborators in education, medicine, research, and science. Since opening in 1977, more than 21,000 graduates have gone on to successful careers in medicine, veterinary medicine, public health, science, and business, and have practiced in all 50 US states and more than 50 countries around the world.
