The Netherlands, as a world leader in seed development and young plants, can contribute to building an effective seed sector and brings together a unique network of Dutch Diamond actors from government, private sector, civil society organisations, and research institutions. To contribute to Agenda 2030 and the Sustainable Development Goals, four parties engaged in the SeedNL partnership: Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Food Security and Nature, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Plantum, the Dutch branch association for plant reproduction material, and NAO, the Dutch Potato Organisation. This partnership aims to provide appropriate access to quality seeds for all farmers, to strengthen the seed sector in developing countries as well as increase the productivity and income of farmers. SeedNL's Goals: 1. Providing access and use of quality seeds to create a better livelihood for farmers; 2. Exploring opportunities to develop the seed sector in selected countries with stakeholders; 3. Sharing knowledge and expertise between all stakeholders in the seed sector, applying a Dutch Diamond approach; 4. Forming and maintaining a network of relevant stakeholders; 5.
