seedlingsgroup is there for you throughout each of the major developmental transitions in your child's life, to answer your questions and make sure you are equipped with cutting-edge, research-based knowledge to best support your child's emotional, social, and cognitive development. based on the intimate knowledge you have of your child, we'll discuss strategies with you ranging from sleep to discipline and adjust them to your parenting styles. we'll also help you navigate through all of the contradictory and confusing parenting and child development advice, dispelling anxiety-provoking myths along the way. the purpose of these sessions (which occur in your home, office, or any place of convenience) is to let you know what normal developmental changes you can expect and the best ways you can respond. our developmental visits provide specific, useful, and research-based information to help you make great decisions for your young children, during every major developmental period from birth to age three. our advice is tailored to your child's developmental stage and is focused not on the actions that your child can or cannot do at specific times, but rather on behaviors that you and your baby's caregivers can do that will help scaffold your child's optimal development. our goal is to empower you as the parenting expert for your child. each session lasts two hours, during which we provide you with personalized materials, research-based information, checklists, tables, and strategies that will help you optimize each stage of your child's growth as well as give you the support you need to help your child with the fundamentals such as sleep (from newborn to preschooler) and positive discipline (toddler to preschooler). seedlingsgroup provides continued support between visits via phone and email.
