Sedulus was founded to acquire and invest in operating businesses based in British Columbia. We invest in the Company, its people and its business relationships. We take an active role in operating the business and are focused on opportunities that require a management and ownership succession plan. Sedulus provides capital and management for active owner-operators seeking a financial and management succession solution. In its simplest form, we provide the money, the team, and the legal and financial expertise to take over from an active owner looking to transition out of their business. We are not purely “investors”. We are squarely focused on businesses where the owner-operator is looking to reduce their ongoing active involvement in the business as well as situations where the owner would like to facilitate some ownership transition to the employee-base. We're certainly not “flippers”. Most of the businesses we have been investors in, we have gradually built over 10+ years. We’re in it for the long term.
