The Curacao Small Business Development Center, SEDECK, was established on June 26, 2001 in Curacao as a foundation, with a board of directors consisting of nine members. The center carries the name Sentro pa Desaroyo di Empresa Chiki Korsou (SEDECK) or in English, SBDC Curacao. Mission The mission of SEDECK is to link the resources of the Central and Island Governments, knowledge institutes and the private sector to provide the micro and small enterprise (MSE) entrepreneurs with one-to-one counseling, management training, and information they need to prosper and grow in a competitive regional and global economy. Objectives Directly and indirectly support the micro-, small- and medium businesses in the broadest possible scale. Support the organizations that serve the interest of the MSE-entrepreneur. Assist the governments with the development of policies to support the MSE-sector. Collaborate with knowledge institutions that unfold activities in the interest of the MSE-sector. Stimulate coherence and unity among entrepreneurs in the MSE-sector.
