Secuyou offers a wireless lock for windows and patio doors. The lock can be operated by an alarm systems or other home automation systems. Secuyou is the story about Leo Laursen who came up with the idea of locking your windows and patio doors with just one click on a button - just like locking a car. The pain of walking around the house to secure the closing and locking of every window and patio door had to be solved, but he couldn't find a solution on the market. So he filed a patent to protect his idea and started development. In 2008 - four years after - SecuYou was founded and received funding from VKR Holding - the owner of VELUX roof windows. In 2010 the first product was sold on the Danish market and the patent was granted. The first two years on the market more than 5,000 locks was sold on the Danish market in order to test the product and to learn about the customers, the product, the market and channels to market. Ever since several partners has since joined to sell the product. Today the product is available in several Nordic markets and new markets are being entered through partners. Today the company is co-owned by Leo Laursen and Jens Albertsen. Secuyou's mission is to 'Bring convenience and security into people's everyday life'
