The same is true for data encryption. Encryption provides a line of defence against unauthorised data access but is undermined by keyloggers and PC user based passwords which are inherently insecure. Once the passwords to a PC are known then the data is unlocked and accessible. True data security can only be achieved by a unified approach to preventing unauthorised data access. SecureDrives have achieved this unified approach by designing an SSD drive around security, rather than trying to add security to an SSD drive like so many products on the market.
