Secure Chorus is a not-for-profit organisation established with the support of the UK Government and leading industry stakeholders from the defence, national security, telecommunications, and software sectors, including Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) providers. Its membership included organisations such as the UK’s National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), BAE Systems, Sepura, Leonardo, Telefónica, Vodafone, and several SaaS start-ups. Secure Chorus developed globally applicable interoperability standards to enable secure, interoperable communication between software products—including instant messaging and OTT communication platforms—based on the MIKEY-SAKKE protocol.
