sctn is the new name for Section Records, a record label founded by Nick Brennan a.k.a. Tripswitch in 2010. Having run with a free-thinking philosophy over the past 9 years, releasing everything from electronica, psy-chill, downtempo, liquid drum and bass, dubstep to progressive house and trance, sctn is reborn in 2019 with a new-found focus on what weve always done best quality downtempo, chillout and electronica. We relaunched in September 2019 with the release of a brand new Audioglider & Xspance long-player, Sensory Reception, to be closely followed by the first Tripswitch chillout album in 9 years, Memento Mori. Our sister label, onedotsixtwo, is your place to go for proper progressive and deep house from the leading lights in the modern progressive scene.
