Secours is building the deterministic checkpoint that stands between an AI agent and the action it is about to take, so autonomous action can be governed, and its risk understood. As agents move from answering questions to taking action, the stakes change. They can move money, change patient records and deploy code. The question stops being "is this agent who it claims to be?" and becomes "is this agent allowed to do this, right now, within this limit?" Identity and access management answers the first question: it verifies credentials and controls access. It doesn't govern individual actions. That second question is what Secours is for. Role-Based Containment evaluates each action at the moment it is attempted and issues or denies a scoped, single-use warrant. Each warrant authorizes one specific, bounded action, on the record. If denied, the action fails closed. If granted, the warrant is exhausted at execution, leaving no authority for a later action to inherit. Alongside that enforcement, Secours creates tamper-evident evidence linking the authority granted to the consequential action that occurred. Agents keep their autonomy. Humans keep the last word.
