Second First Chance Information

Second First Chance combines human support, entrepreneurial education, mentorship, and funding to help individuals build meaningful businesses and long-term independence. Our mentors guide each participant through a customized journey focused on growth, accountability, and opportunity. Second First Chance exists to help people rebuild through entrepreneurship, mentorship, and community support. We focus on individuals seeking a second first chance, including formerly incarcerated individuals, people recovering from addiction, survivors of trauma, and others working to create a new path forward. Through personalized human support, experienced mentors, structured business guidance, and modern technology tools, we help participants move from instability to ownership and independence. Our incubator program helps individuals develop ideas, skills, and foundational business readiness, while our accelerator program provides selected entrepreneurs with year-long funding, a living wage, operational support, and ongoing accountability to help launch sustainable businesses. We believe lasting change happens when people are given not only opportunity, but also the structure, support, and belief needed to succeed.
