SEBx is proud to be part of the SEB Group Our History: SEBx was born from a bold idea: to keep the bank relevant in a rapidly changing world and to embrace disruption rather than fear it. In 2018, SEB’s CEO and a visionary team created a small and agile unit, the “X division” with a mandate to operate beyond conventional structures and legacy processes, while having full access to the bank’s resources. This freedom allowed us to chart our own course, explore emerging technologies, and pioneer groundbreaking innovations. 2018 – SEBx Innovation Studio launched. 2022 – Our first external customer joined, and SEB Embedded was born. 2023 – SEBx evolved into SEBx 2.0 with a new team on place, reaffirming our mission to lead the way into the future.
