The Portland Rose Festival takes place in annually in late May and early June in Portland, Oregon, in celebration of the Rose City. Major events include the Grand Floral Parade, CityFair and Fleet Week. Rose Festival features 60 plus events and programs that spotlight our local heritage, the environment and international cultures.

Our Mission The Capital Pride Alliance, through its stewardship of diverse programming and events, specifically year-round LGBTQ+ Pride festivities centered in Washington, DC and the National Capital Region, serves to celebrate, educate, support, and inspire our multi-faceted communities in order to grow and preserve our history and protect our rights for current and future generations. What We Do The Capital Pride Alliance (CPA), located in Washington, DC, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the needs of the LGBTQ+ community all year long, through educational programs, major events, fundraising, outreach and advocacy, providing platforms for visibility, and supporting the work of our many community organizations and local businesses.

The Diversity Center is dedicated to building a diverse community, promoting health and well being, and advancing social justice for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, and questioning individuals and their allies in Santa Cruz County. Our vision is a healthy, vibrant, and diverse LGBTTIQ community in Santa Cruz County that is free from fear, hatred, and prejudice and safe in their persons, work, and their homes; with a spirit of collaborative leadership that fosters the sharing of resources, talents, and gifts with each other and with the greater Santa Cruz Community. The Diversity Center operates by the following Guiding Principles: 1. We promote the strength, health, and cohesion of our entire community by welcoming community members of diverse ages, races, ethnic, backgrounds, genders, spiritualities, incomes, and physical and mental abilities, and by actively developing our cultural competence. 2. We nurture, liberate, celebrate, and empower LGBTIQ individuals and organizations to achieve their fullest potential by offering educational, informational, and social resources and working to dismantle racism in our organization and our community. 3. We promote health and wellbeing in our community by honoring, respecting, and educating ourselves, and our community, and by building strong community partnerships.
