Breakout Games escape rooms offer an opportunity to unplug from the fast-paced, digital landscape to connect with people in real time. Through the detailed clues, engaging story and team focus, players utilize critical thinking, grow in creative processing and create real connections with the people around them.
A unique way to escape ordinary team building, Breakout Games is great for corporate teams, schools, nonprofits and more.
Team building has a bad rap. We get it—these experiences usually come with a white board and cheesy role-playing. But that’s not our version. We offer something more than your average trust fall, where office mates, classmates, and teammates can breakout with a real-life adventure where everyone has a part to play.
All you need is a willingness to put your heads together and try something new. We supply the props, a game master, 60 minutes of challenging fun, and after game exercises that extend the experience beyond the room.
Good for 4-10 players per room, but we can accommodate larger groups of 100-200 depending on the location.
Founded in 2014, Breakout Games is a leader in the growing escape-room industry, offering live-action entertainment at 44 locations in 28 states. Breakout Games headquarters is located in Lexington, Kentucky.

The pressure's on. The clock's ticking. The adrenaline's pumping. No audience but each other, the players themselves, right in the thick of the action. Having to work as a team to beat the clock and maybe, just maybe, experience the thrill of escaping.

Mystery Escape Room is a leader in "Evidence Based Training" for team building programs. Rather than guessing what attributes are important for teams, Evidence Based Training utilizes coursework grounded in and supported by research demonstrating their success. The research is an ongoing study supported by major universities covering thousands of teams and tens of thousands of participants.
At Mystery Escape Room you can expect an amazing escape room experience including live actors, immersive sets, custom technology and puzzles designed with team building in mind. Each of our experiences has a dedicated actor guide who monitors the room, in character, for a truly engaging time. Our sets are designed to look and feel like the real location. We create our own custom technology for unique and surprising puzzles. All of our room are non-linear, so teams have to split up and work on multiple puzzles at the same time. This helps engage the whole team in the experience instead of just 3 or 3 of the most active.
