Search’XPR was founded in 2011 by Jean-Luc Marini, a renowned professor and inventor of the Oorace technology, and Olivier Figon, also a professor, and veteran of the business systems consulting industry. Prior to forming the company, Mr. Marini spent six years researching and developing an algorithm which integrates psycho-cognitive principles into traditional software applications. Search’XPR created and developed Oorace, a revolutionary API for data search and recommendation. The foundation of Oorace is a proprietary algorithm that explodes the results of traditional keyword and semantic tools. Search’XPR’s headquarters and research center are in Clermont-Ferrand, France. Additionally, Search’XPR has a wholly-owned subsidiary based in New York City, and shareholders in Shanghai, China. In 2012, Search’XPR was recognized as a “Young Innovative Enterprise” and received a grant from OSEO, a French Government agency.
