Search Solved is a senior SEO consultancy run personally by me, Mike Escott. One consultant, no handovers: the person you enquire with is the person who does the work. I've worked in SEO since 2013, across agency, in-house and independent roles. Most engagements start with a fixed-fee SEO audit, scoped to the problem you need solved. There's no generic, all-in-one audit: • Technical SEO audit: the structural blockers costing you visibility, separated from the housekeeping and handed to your developers as fixes they can schedule. • Google update recovery audit: what was hit, why, and a prioritised plan to get it back. • SEO content audit: a verdict on every page (keep, merge, refresh, retire or differentiate) with the evidence beside each call. Audits are from £4,500, fixed and agreed before work starts. Most complete in 2–3 weeks and usually start within 10 days. Every audit ends with a team walkthrough and a wrap-up report, and findings arrive as developer tickets or copywriter briefs your team can act on. Beyond the audits, I take on consultancy and project support at £150 per hour: strategy setting, migration cover and implementation oversight. Larger projects are scoped and quoted in advance, and availability is more limited than for audits. I work with established businesses and ambitious brands, usually alongside the in-house teams doing the work. Clients have included household names and independents.
