“We are USRowing, fostering community, cultivating excellence and developing Olympic Champions.” USRowing is a nonprofit membership organization recognized by the United States Olympic Committee as the national governing body for the sport of rowing in the United States. USRowing selects, trains and manages the teams that represent the U.S. in international competition including the world championships, Pan American Games and Olympics. More than 77,00 individuals and 1,400 organizations strong, USRowing serves and promotes the sport on all levels of competition. USRowing membership reflects the spectrum of American rowers – juniors, collegians, masters and those who row for recreation, competition or fitness.

British Rowing, as the governing body for the sport, is responsible for the development of rowing in England and the training and selection of rowers to represent Great Britain. Rowing has a proud history as one of GB’s most successful Olympic sports producing World, Olympic and Paralympic Champions from across the UK. The squad is supported by the National Lottery Sports Fund.

Concept2 is the leading manufacturer of sport-based ergometers, including the RowErg, SkiErg, BikeErg and StrengthErg. The company began in 1976 in the back of a bread truck when Dick and Pete Dreissigacker, fresh from Olympic training, started making composite racing oars. Concept2 oars and sculls have since gone on to become the equipment of choice among the world's rowers. In 1981, Dick and Pete created the Concept2Model A RowErg, which swiftly became the best-selling rowing machine in the world. They introduced a Nordic ski training machine, the SkiErg, in 2009. The Concept2 BikeErg (released 2017) is the latest addition to our family of sport-based ergometers. Since those early days we've grown to over 70 employees in Morrisville, Vermont.
