Sean Hyland Motorsport Information

Sean Hyland Motorsport is one of North America's leading developers of high performance cars, engines and innovative solutions for the sports car enthusiast market. In particular, SHM has specific expertise in Mustangs, Shelby's and select GM and Chrysler models. Sean has raced, wrenched, and developed Mustangs for more than half his 34 years in Motorsport. Having cut his teeth in autocross and pro rally competition in the early 1980′s, he moved on to be a successful driver and team owner in the Firehawk Endurance road race series in the 1990s. Sean founded Sean Hyland Motorsport in 1988. As Sean became immerse in developing the 4.6L engine in the mid 1990s, time commitments forced his own Motorsport adventures to take a back seat to the business. Sean is still at the forefront of 4.6L Modular V-8 development today, and he’s justifiably proud of his achievements. Most notably the 4.6L and 5.4L engine block that he designed for high-performance applications. Today, Sean is involved with making Mustangs go faster every day, and will be continuing development for the 2015 Mustang and Ford F-150 pickup truck. SHM is a licensed distributor of Ford Racing parts, and has distribution agreements with many leading manufacturers of high performance automotive components. In April, 2014 he was joined by Eric Vengroff, entrepreneur and veteran e-marketer, to update the website, re-initialize our advertising campaigns and assist in the development and communication of new lines. Eric was the former president & CEO of 50Plus.com, the largest site in Canada for the mature and aging populations, which today is part of the ZoomerMedia Limited group of media properties. He took the company public and it still trades on the TSX Venture exchange under the symbol ZUM. He was also the former vice president & general manager of CARP, the Canadian Association of Retired Persons, the largest organization for the 45+ in Canada.
