Seacoast Professional Development Center Information

The Seacoast Professional Development Center is one of four regional training centers established by the State of New Hampshire's Department of Education to deliver technology based professional development to teachers and staff throughout New Hampshire. The center is housed in the same building as the SAU 16 offices in downtown Exeter. It includes a meeting area, 24 networked computers, a video projection system, and video-conferencing capabilities. Our mission is to improve student academic achievement through high quality professional development which enhances curriculum, instruction, and assessment. Through the use of technology the SPDC will provide programs that will be available to educators and community members at any time, at any place, and at any pace. Courses and workshops will focus on three areas of emphasis: technology integration, data-driven decision-making, and distance learning.
