When the company was founded, the retail seafood industry consisted primarily of fresh fish counters and frozen block fish offerings. Recognizing our customers' need for self-service frozen seafood, Sea Star initiated the development of a product line and production capability that today has made us an industry leader and the major USA producer of case ready frozen seafood products.
